Just after LeBron James took home a fourth NBA title, Nike dropped a breath-taking two-pair package of his footwear called the “Beijing Pack“, combining the LeBron 18 “Empire Jade” with a brand-new colorway of the LeBron 8 Retro. Limited to a mere 600 units exclusively in China, that special LeBron release served as a proper appetizer for the wider return of the LeBron 8 to the market which is scheduled to go down later in 2020 and throughout 2021.
And it’s happening sooner than you think as the Nike LeBron 8 Retro appears via official images for the first time ever, revealing the same “Gym Red” colorway with a green-tinted glow in the dark outsole, Air unit, and Swoosh border. Hit of golden yellow are seen at the edges of the leather panels as well as on the molded tongue. This is quite a throwback to the 2010/2011, isn’t it? See the full official images below and stay tuned as we learn more about the LeBron 8 Retro, which also includes the return of the South Beach LeBron 8.
UPDATE (11/05/2020):
This Nike LeBron 8 arrives in China on November 6th.
