Nike Sportswear’s Adds The Air Max 2090 To The Looming “Radiant Red” Entry

Nike Sportswear’s Adds The Air Max 2090 To The Looming “Radiant Red” Entry

On November 9th, Nike is bringing back what most sneaker fans know as the Air Max 90 “Infrared”, but under the re-branded moniker of “Radiant Red”. And like the Swoosh has a tendency of doing when retro-ing a classic Air Max colorway, they allow its theme to transfer to another silhouettes under the Sportswear category. Following “Radiant Red” reveals of the alternate AM 90 and the AM 97, the theme is now making its way onto one of Beaverton’s newest lifestyle runners: the Air Max 2090.

Synthetic base layers, mudguards, and rear heel molds are identically styled in stealth mode, and feature notes of its titular shade splashed onto the Swooshes, heel loops, and track-shaped tongue molds, and exposed Air units. Furthermore, the forefoot section of the midsole offsets with a barely-visible hit of “Anthracite” to string together its entire look. These have already released in Europe, but anticipate a US release on Nike.com to likely happen quietly within the upcoming weeks. Official images of this $150 colorway can be found here ahead.

For other Swoosh-related news, a Nike SB Dunk Low Court Purple has been revealed.
