Michael Le Through adidas Makers Lab, sneaker customizer Shun Hirose — or “RECOUTURE” as he’s better known — was able to display his designs on a more official platform. And following the initial collaboration’s success, the craftsmen was able to present further interpretations of his Campus 80, the latest update helmed by both a white and black colorway.
Of the two, the “Core Black” is the most visually diverse. While the suede layers both along the side, tongue, and heel are darkened in their neutral shade, the laces, Three Stripes, and sole stand out thanks to the use of a lighter cream. The latter tone extends farther back onto the lining as well, while the trefoil-marked branding at the tongue and back tab finish in a more bleached variety. In comparison, the “Chalk White” alternate is effectively one-note, its various parts only marginally separate in appearance.
Grab a glimpse at both here and expect to find them at adidas.com and likely select retailers come November 21st.
