Sivasdescalzo Leverages Its adidas Forum Hi ’84 Collaboration To Galvanize Barcelona’s Artistic Scene

With the global pandemic severely reducing the amount of personal interactions, there’s no denying the effect it has had on arts and the surrounding culture. For their upcoming collaboration with adidas Originals and the revitalized Forum ’84, the Barcelona-based boutique will be focusing its efforts to support The Voodoo Club, a local collective dedicated to bringing avant-garde African to the Mediterranean area.

For their adidas Forum Hi, SVD adds a cream white leather and suede with dark navy accents on the OG silhouette, with yellowed accents furthering the mid-80s basketball look. Each pair comes with an accompanying ID card containing the shoe’s unique serial number along with an interactive QR code allowing them to access and explore the world of SVD Forum, which has been inspired by the underground dance club parties of 80’s Brooklyn and creative communities worldwide.

With just 300 pairs releasing, this small-batch collaboration is surely one of the more elusive drops of the year.
