Michael Le Now that 2021 has finally arrived, there are a lot of releases to look forward to — some just months away, others still yet to be announced. And among Jordan Brand’s long list of forthcoming retros, one has certainly got people excited: the Air Jordan 5 “Raging Bull.”
Rumored to be on the way months ago, the colorway has finally appeared by way of official images in its GS size. As recent trend indicates, the pair is likely to receive a full family size run, going down from adults all the way to toddlers. Its red suede upper will remain near identical from one to the next, with all the smaller details and fixtures also in tow. Collegiate-styled “23” numerals stamp the heel, made near invisible in its matching embroidery; above, contrasting bits of silver reflective coat the tongue, while the branding and adjacent lace lock are treated to dark blacks and clear finishes, respectively. Elsewhere, further Jumpman insignia dresses the heel, the midsole comes blacked out, and the tread adds a touch of icy blues.
