The Nike SB Dunk Low has dominated most headlines regarding the Swoosh’s skateboarding division over the last three years, but the SB Blazer Mid has quietly delivered dozens of impressive arrangements of its own. The latest arrives in a color palette reminiscent of the Los Angeles Lakers’ uniforms.

As with previous iterations of the seemingly de-constructed silhouette, a robust tumbled leather takes over the pair’s base construction. Suede overlays enter the mix across the forefoot, with paneling directly on the tip of the toe indulging in a rich purple hue; profile swooshes also boast the historically-regal hue, with medial sides donning it on its standard logo. Most of the Blazer Mid-variant’s remainder reverts to shades of white, but detailing across the foam tongue deliver familiar yellow contrast. Underfoot, outsoles round out the arrangement in light gum brown.

Enjoy official images of the eccentric option here below, and expect a Nike.com launch come February.
