Dark Beetroot Bleeds Onto The Soles Of This Nike Overbreak SP

Dark Beetroot Bleeds Onto The Soles Of This Nike Overbreak SP

If you’ve ever rocked red suede sneakers, then you’re probably aware of the behavioral “bleeding” that typically happens with the material. It’s not exclusive to this hue, but given the colloquial term given to the staining of adjacent panels just matches the bloody hue. For this upcoming Nike Overbreak SP, it appears that Nike is accelerating the process a bit as the Dark Beetroot red upper seems to be spilling onto the upper half of the React sole. We’ve seen a similar treatment in the recently revealed Overbreak SP “Pollen Rise”, but it’s all the more apparent with this release.

Strange details aside, this Overbreak SP also blends the darker shade with a bright Cardinal Red for a subtle fade on the suede upper, giving off a DIY dyed look. Black leather Swoosh logos partially covered by the floating panels and a stained interior also add to that homemade aesthetic.

Nike SNKRS and select retailers will stock these in the Summer 2021 season for $140.
