There’s just something about the Air Force 1. And as it layers on motif after motif, the model’s appeal becomes more and more clear. Here, a number of subtler accents come to the upper’s aid, adding just enough to keep things interesting.
The Swoosh, for starters, brandishes a deep olive tone and a luxe suede fabric. This wraps back towards the heel, a fixture whose construction is unique in its own right. Debossed branding depresses onto the tab, each character filling with pink to contrast the subtly tanned tumbled leather behind it. And these, though rather typical and familiar, leans further towards the eccentric as it texture deceptively reminds of snakeskin. Elsewhere, everything is kept relatively true to triple white down to the laces, lining, and midsole.
