Jasmine Tang Whether you’re still recovering from taking an L or riding high after a W on the adidas Yeezy Foam Runner “MXT Moon Grey” and “Sand,” get ready to give it another shot soon, with the release of the “Mineral Blue” offering this May.
The darker, natural blue approach deviates from the debut colorways, which are all tinted in Yeezy’s signature neutrals—although “MXT Moon Grey” does swirl in some grey. It appears to be closer to black despite its name, which may be a relief to those looking for a versatile option. As demonstrated by the released pairs, the silhouette is composed of a single piece of material perforated throughout to create a Croc-like style. While mix sentiment still lingers regarding the look of the Foam Runner, its eco-friendly, harvested algae composition and attested comfort could further inspire the future of footwear. In addition, the upcoming arrangement only marks the beginning of a potential wave of new variations to come.
Get a closer look at the “Mineral Blue” Foam Runner in full-family sizing below, which is slated to release in May, according to Yeezy Mafia.
