For the Jordan Delta 2’s earliest colorways, the silhouette has preferred to keep things rather austere. Vibrant color injects only in seldom, and in its most recent case, almost not at all.
Though the pair’s use of “Royal” is rather standout, that’s only due to its choice of base. Here, white neutrals and its variations take the helm, leaving most of the synthetic upper and leather overlays quite colorless. The suede along the counter and vamp as well as the sole, however, pigment with yellow, lightly contrasting the rest of the construction. The “J O R D A N” logo on the profile then embroiders atop the side in black, matching the tongue label’s palette but not its lack of brevity. Elsewhere, the tongue and hang tag complete the branding in the aforementioned cool tone.
