Nike Basketball’s Greater Than (G.T.) series has proposed three different silhouettes for three types of abilities. The Nike Zoom G.T. Cut, which will be endorsed by De’Aaron Fox, has recently emerged in a brand-new colorway featuring a predominantly-white base complemented by hits of red, blue and other tones.
Utilizing the Zoom Air Strobel system currently found within the KD 13 and PG 5, the latest proposition from Nike Basketball sits players close to the ground. Nike React foam is paired with the responsive Airbags for improved responsiveness and cushioning. In order to maximize court feel and minimize fatigue over both the course of a single game and a prolonged series, the design team behind the G.T. Cut also spent time contemplating the shoe’s upper, which forgoes a full, restrictive synthetic build for one that makes use of neoprene’s soft and durable properties. Molded tongues indulge in a sunrise-reminiscent gradient, while surrounding details boast contrasting red and blue flair; sole units prefer a more muted aesthetic, but their herringbone-like outsole boasts a semi-translucent finish that reveals the Zoom Strobel’s color palette.
