The Jordan Delta Breathe Goes The Classic “Chicago” Route

The Jordan Delta Breathe Goes The Classic “Chicago” Route

Although Nike React-cushioning has become synonymous with the brand’s running category, the foam solution debuted on a Nike Basketball product in 2017. While not directly, the Jordan Delta Breathe nods to the cushioning’s origins by blending basketball heritage with modern-day, casual design.

Akin to previous iterations, the forthcoming pair indulges in a color palette surely derived from the ever-popular Air Jordan line. The mix of synthetic and suede paneling that makes up the Jordan Delta Breathe’s upper is divided between shades of white and red, with the latter appearing most prominently on the heel, tongue and outsole. This “Chicago”-like arrangement is visible through the profiles, which boast a semi-translucent finish. Complementary details opt into a black aesthetic, which further nods to the original Air Jordan 1; reimagined “Wings” insignias appear on the tongue and sock-liner.

Enjoy official images of the Jordan Delta Breathe here below, and anticipate a Nike.com release soon.
