Jasmine Tang Last month, a surge of Nike Waffle One colorways had emerged, including ultra-customizable “By You” options. The Swoosh is keeping the momentum going as it unveils a new offering that centers around the summer-ready “Pale Coral” shade.
The aforementioned pastel tints both the fine mesh body and suede elements such as the overlays on the toe and heel and the lacestays. Both sides feature a leather Swoosh in an off-white “Cashmere” hue to further the soft-toned aesthetic of the arrangement. Cashmere is also applied to the midsole, although the heel, which creates the stacked sole look, opts for Pale Coral. At the forefoot and on the tongue, small branded details with the likes of mini Swooshes and “WFFL 1” text introduce the slightest hits of Deep Royal Blue into the mix. The style is complete with a classic Waffle outsole that exhibits a gum finish, rather than the typical black rubber.
