The Light Bone And Green Noise Pairing Give The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “First Use” A Vintage Look

The Light Bone And Green Noise Pairing Give The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “First Use” A Vintage Look

As the legendary Swoosh logo nears its 50th anniversary, images of the Nike “First Use” pack’s offerings have been constantly emerging. For its latest reveal, the Beaverton-based brand is showcasing yet another Blazer Mid ’77. However, this particular pair ditches the two-tone approach demonstrated by previously revealed styles among the collection.

Smooth leather uppers are tinted in an off-white, Light Bone shade with Cream suede overlays applied to the heel and at the forefoot for a vintage aesthetic. Suede is also applied to the crimson heel tab, although it opts for a rather flocked finish. On the lateral side, an embroidered Swoosh in Green Noise sits above text that reads “First use June 18, 1971,” as seen throughout the pack. Unexpectedly, the medial side introduces another shade to the mix by using a blue leather Swoosh. The same blue is applied to the rubber outsole, completing the subtly colored design.

Enjoy official images of the Blazer Mid ’77 below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months with a price of $100.

In other Swoosh-related news, various shades of brown are found on an upcoming Air Max 90.
