The Nike Waffle Trainer 2 Gets A Refreshing Green Update

The Nike Waffle Trainer 2 Gets A Refreshing Green Update

With a heritage that dates back to almost fifty years ago, the Nike Waffle Trainer remains a timeless silhouette that holds much significance in not just Nike’s history, but also the history of running footwear overall. Keeping the Waffle tradition going, the Swoosh will soon be releasing a new Nike Waffle Trainer II that sees classic green accents.

The clean design starts with a plush white base that is complemented by grey suede lacestays and overlays on the toe and heel. A vibrant green is applied to the leather profile Swooshes and heel tab, as well as the sockliner. Subtle pops of color continue with the tongue label featuring an Orange Swoosh logo, in which the citrus shade also tints the NIKE text on the heel tab. The signature black Waffle outsole sits below a white foam midsole to complete the heritage style.

Check out official images of the Waffle Trainer 2 below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months at a price of $100.
