Michael Le Following the release of their New Balance 991 in January, Patta offered very little on the collaborative front. However, more recently, the imprint has rapidly kicked it into gear, preparing not just a plethora of Vans but also two Nike Air Max 1 colorways.
The first, which was tinged in orange, revealed a design inspired by the Air Max 2 from ’94. Here, this iteration does the very same, though it replaces the warm tone for a cooler shade of “Noise Aqua.” Along both the Swoosh and wave-cut mudguard, the blue stands tall atop nubuck paneling; the construction elsewhere mixes together silver-woven mesh and an assortment of white-colored leather overlays. A slight hint of cream, then, adds a vintage effect to both the midsole as well as the lining and tongue.
