Michael Le For their latest pack of kids’ exclusives, Jordan Brand is paying homage to “Where The Wild Things Are,” an iconic picture book that has inspired an animated short, opera, and a even a live action film. Here, the creatures of Maurice Sendak’s design are coming to life more tangibly, informing every bit of this upcoming Air Jordan 4.
Most of the colorway is rather subdued, dressed a light tan like the furry fleece used along the collar and tongue. Darker hits of brown, then, complement adjacent, adding deeper, beast-like contrast to the tongue label, heel, and tooling. Finally, pops of louder color alternate across the support wings, their red, green, blue, and pink hues a playful touch befitting a GS, PS, and TD offering.
