Patta Unveils Nike Air Max 1 Collaboration With “Waves Not Cycles” Video

Teased for the better part of the past few months, Patta‘s upcoming Nike Air Max 1 — entitled “The Wave” — has finally been announced to the public. Arriving alongside a few apparel selections, the collaboration takes the classic silhouette and shines it through a visually abstract lens.

The colorway is rather grounded, however, erring relatively close to an OG feel. Only one accent color, “Monarch”, takes the lead, dressing the Swoosh, much of the branding, and the mudguard whose shape has been contorted to a literal wave. A neutral “Pure Platinum,” then, hues the mesh adjacent, while white and “Sail” proffer further neutrals via the leather paneling and lining/tongue, respectively.

A fitting partnership atop what is considered the “signature shoe of Amsterdam,” the Patta x Air Max 1 is slated to land October 8th via Nike.Patta.nl at a retail of €160.
