The Nike Blazer Low Platform, though not exactly a heritage silhouette, is being used to celebrate the brand’s past. This, however, is not outwardly apparent as the collage of references hide behind a few more modern fixtures.
For starters, the entire upper is covered in white faux fur. And when paired with the black leather Swoosh, it creates the illusion of an OG colorway. That image is then effectively shattered thanks not only to the higher tooling but also the heel tab’s many metallic silver adornments. Finally, the package is rounded out by the insole and outsole’s all-over prints, which blend together nods to Blue Ribbon Sports, classic iconography, and more.
