Jovani Hernandez Ahead of Valentine’s Day 2022 and the impending breaking of hearts on the February 14th date, the Swoosh is outfitting the women’s Nike Blazer Mid Jumbo in a mismatched, voodoo-donning ensemble that puts power in the hands of the wearer.
Part of a larger collection, the newly-surfaced pair couples synthetic leather, canvas and suede to create a seemingly “random” arrangement throughout the upper. Lateral sides heavily favor shades of navy, while medial sidewalls prefer drab olive green flair. Profile swooshes, stitching and other supporting components also help provide one of the Nike Blazer‘s most eccentric colorways, with spines featuring both “LOVE” messaging and a mix of patterns and colors. And while the Nike Sportswear proposition’s aforementioned details work in-tandem to produce an eye-catching ensemble, they’re unarguably overshadowed by the included voodoo doll that attaches to the lateral heel via a series of buttons.
