The Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 Gets A Flashy Two-Toned Sole

The Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 Gets A Flashy Two-Toned Sole

Although the majority of races across the globe have undergone some sort of Covid-19-related protocol, runners have continued to train on their own. The Nike ZoomX VaporFly NEXT% 2 has been a go-to choice for some of these athletes, with bold colorways allowing them to make statements in more ways than one.

While likely to be replaced with a third iteration by the end of 2022, the ZoomX-cushioned silhouette has recently appeared in a new arrangement that suggests it still has some life left. All black takes over much of the upper, with swoosh-branding introducing a light grey into the mix. The pair’s highlight, however, is the sole unit due to the vibrant purple and “Infrared”-reminiscent tones that divvy up the tried-and-proven performance foam. Logos on the outsole work in-tandem with the rubber compound towards the ball of the foot to “tame” the Nike ZoomX VaporFly‘s boldness.

Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and expect a Nike.com launch soon.

For more from the Swoosh, check out the Air Max 1 ahead of its 35th anniversary.
