Jovani Hernandez Nowadays, conversations related to the being formerly known as “Kanye West” are largely centered around his personal life. The 44-year-old however, continues to deliver fodder for the sneaker community, unveiling more restocks and new launches from his adidas Yeezy empire.
As spring and summer inch closer, the ever-divisive, but breathable Yeezy Foam Runner has surfaced in a healthy mix of old and new styles. Recent “Stone Sage” and “Mist” colorways have helped expand Ye’s dominance in footwear, setting the stage for re-releases like the “Sand” one. First seen on March 26th, 2021, the “Sand”-colored Yeezys is expected to return for the second time in June. As the first widely-available drop of the slip-on model, the pair has quickly sold out both times it’s released, with countless fans preferring it’s clean, off-white style to the more experimental options that have followed it. The shoes’ design appears untouched on the reissue, with the two-piece, algae-donning construction maintaining its standard shape and arrangement. Pricing, however, has increased since the Foam Runner debuted, with the upcoming drop arriving at a slightly-higher $90 USD (no longer $80 USD for adult sizes).
No firm release date has been disclosed by the brand, but all signs are pointing to a June launch. While you wait for concrete details, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
