The Jordan Why Not .5 Adds Watermelon, Sapphire, And Mint Foam Accents

The Jordan Why Not .5 Adds Watermelon, Sapphire, And Mint Foam Accents

Russell Westbrook’s first year in Los Angeles has undeniably been his most challenging season to date. The former MVP and triple-double machinie seems to be shouldering a lot of the blame for the Lakers’ trouble, and there admittedly is validation to that criticism. Still, Westbrook’s off-the-court movements have been successful; his Honor The Gift label is among the more popular selections in boutiques, while his signature shoes with Jordan continue to be embraced by hoopers who like a little edge.

Set to release later this summer is this playful mix of tropical hues on the Why Not .5. Using a black base, Jordan Brand adds watermelon. sapphire, and mint foam hits to decorate the colorway, while a golden medallion appears on the tongue label. It’s not clear if these will release before the end of the season, but hopefully this fresh pair gives Westbrook a boost because the Lakers are in dire need for an edge.
