Trusted Hoops Photographer Koolmac Designs A Boba Tea Inspired Air Jordan 36 Low

If you follow the hoops news cycle on Instagram, the handle @koolmac is one you’ve undoubtedly come across. The biggest names in sports and entertainment, particularly in the LA area, have credited the photographer on a regular basis for his electric shots of in-game action, often trusted by the likes of LeBron James and more. His dark, moody, and borderline superhero style of photography has played a major role in the world of social media in sports, and his contributions are being recognized by an equally significant name – Michael Jordan.

Koolmac, who also goes by Cameron Look, got the rare opportunity to design his Air Jordan collaboration, doing so on the upcoming Air Jordan 36 Low. Being a California native, Cameron keeps to his Asian roots by showing the world his love for boba tea through this tasty colorway. Multiple flavors of green cover the entirety of the upper, while black speckling mimics the globes of tapioca that typically accompany the drink. Bright salmon laces and accents are added to represent the colorful straws, while a cute boba tea mascot as well as tapioca ball insoles add even more character to the design. With May marking this year’s AAPI month, the timing is perfect for Cameron to flex his shoe design skills to the world.

Currently, a release date is not yet known, nor is it confirmed that a release will go down. Enjoy the photos for now and stay tuned for updates.
