Sneaker News Nike’s ongoing pursuit of crazy Dunk concepts doesn’t require deep exploration of ideas. Sometimes, it’s as simple as looking at the common items around the room.
This upcoming Nike Dunk release hones in on muted tones, opting for that aged off-cream, a faded light mint, and a orange brown on the furry carpet-like material on the Swoosh logo and the heel-tab. It’s got a bit of a Cactus Plant Flea Market vibe thanks to the shaggy look, an aesthetic compounded by the wrinkled suede at the toe-box and mid-panel. The soft mesh on the tongue further enhances that thrifted look, but it’s really the shabby color-palette that completes the profile.
