Michael Le On both a collaborative and GR front, the BAPE STA has received a number of exciting releases across both 2021 and 2022. And things have not slowed down at all heading into the Summer, as the beloved streetwear label is about release three colorways inspired by three different countries.
Aside from their palettes, these three pairs feature an identical construction. Smooth leathers meet glossy patent, silver hardware outfits the topmost eyelet, and dubraes borrow the shape of the iconic Ape Head. Two of these even deliver similar color blocking: white dresses the base of both, while the overlays alternate between Red/Green and Blue/Red in celebration of Italy and France, respectively. The third and last option rounds out the trio with nods to Brazil, mixing together the country’s signature colors of blue, green, and yellow.
