The Nike Dunk High has gone from outlet special to “grail” over the last several years thanks to co-signs from Travis Scott and Off-White, but it’s accomplished a lot on its own since debuting in 1985.
Ahead of the model’s 2023 run, colorways have joined the rumor mill that has given sneak peeks at some Air Jordans and more over the last few months. While the Swoosh surely has some blockbuster collaborations in the works, it’s also reportedly taking the new year as another chance to reimagine the late Peter Moore’s Nike Dunk on its own. The upcoming style is predominantly clad n a “colorless” arrangement that allows for red flair to steal the spotlight via the profile swooshes, branding on the tongue and outsole. If history is indicative of anything, the teased two-tone offering may be part of a larger Nike Sportswear collection made up of team-friendly colors, a decision casual and savvy fans of the design are sure to pick up.
No firm Nike SNKRS release details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s to change as 2023 gets going. In the meantime, enjoy a look at official images below.
