Founded and designed by Tommy Bogo back in 2013, Tombogo has made a name for themselves with a range of unique products and customizable garments, from branded handycams to double knees equipped with removable/reversible panels. And come very soon, their penchant for modular design will soon take new form, as Saucony has assisted the label in creating their own three-in-one sneaker.
Dubbed “The Butterfly,” the shoe is comprised of a sock-style liner and a more robust, outer shell, both of which can either be combined or worn entirely on their own. The exterior frame, which is treaded underfoot its tall though not quite platformed sole, functions as your average clog. Its exterior is made breathable thanks to a number cut-outs, one of which takes the shape of the Saucony logo. As for the inner bootie, its construction features a breathable, partially see-through mesh front and neoprene along its heel and collar; below, its bottom is reinforced with a rubber clad in a pattern made up of repeating triangles.
For a closer look at Tombogo’s upcoming partnership with Saucony, see below. These will be made available through a raffle, which will go live on August 16th likely at tombogo.com.
Updated September 2nd, 2022: The shoes are available now at Saucony.
