Nike Gets Hectic With Patterns And Textures On The Air Force 1 Shadow

Over the past decade The Swoosh has become well versed in the realm of women’s exclusive streetwear styles, most notably rendering prolific models with reconstructed modifications disparate from their men’s counterparts. While the Nike Air Force 1 Shadow isn’t new to the multi-layered space carved out by Beaverton-based brand, the fashion-forward take on Bruce Kilgore’s design is however experimenting with a frenzied collection of patterns and textures.

A scale of white fabrics sewn in hexagonal, waffle and corduroy patterns dresses the varying panels of the upper sitting atop a matching rubber midsole that’s wrapping heel branding is duplicated in a thickened layer with red “AIR” text. The color palette explodes in the remaining space with a deep sky blue flaunting across the quarter overlay emboldened by a red trim while the underlying tongue construction is treated with a silk golden floral pattern. The manifold of materials follows suit in the contrasting green and tartan swoosh that extends to the overlying backtab promoting cursive “nike” stitching as the tongues texture is imitated in the original collar build.

Enjoy an official look at the “Multi-Textile” Nike Air Force 1 Shadow below with the pair set to arrive soon at Nike.com.
