While the Reebok LX 8500 reigns as one of the most heralded 80’s-inspired silhouettes the brand has to offer, the fresh revitalization of OG running styles from Reebok has culminated in a modern interpretation of its iconic luxe runner, announcing today the all-new Reebok LX2200 that samples autumn hues.
The Fall-ready style takes direct cues from the original 1985 release with treatments of soft leather cascading across the upper sitting atop a buffed up EVA midsole. The archetypal color combination ensues with white mesh construction taking hold of a majority of the sneakers real estate while “Pure Grey 2” toned suede overlays accent both the forefoot and heel. A lateral leather panel extends from the matching textured quarter overlay that houses the Reebok logo and Union Jack in the dark maroon hue. The latter contrast envelops the remainder of the latest Classics composition filling the sock liner, lateral logo, back tab, both the LX2200 and tongue branding as well as the ribbed heel counter. Underfoot things are finished with an off-white midsole and complimenting black tread.
While we anticipate a full roster of colorways and uniquely crafted textiles to grace the brands latest lifestyle silhouette in the coming months, enjoy official images of the Reebok LX2200 “Classic Burgundy” ahead of its September 1st release date.
