Since opening its doors in 2005, END. has collaborated with a host of sneaker brands on story-driven products. For its latest project with adidas, the British retailer has drawn inspiration from the Ibex goat.
Native to Eurasia, North Africa and East Africa, the Ibex goat is a wild species of the animal, distinguished by large recurved horns. END. forgoes covering its Superturf Adventure in a tonal brown arrangement, instead opting to recreate the Ibex goat’s environment across its next joint-effort with the German sportswear behemoth. Dusty olive, pastel parchment and autumn leaf tones divvy up suede, canvas and other materials throughout the sneaker’s upper, representing the animal’s mountainous habitat. CORDURA® fabric injects some ruggedness to the inherently outdoors-ready silhouette. The Three Stripes’ logos on the top of the tongue and sock-liner are given a playful update to coincide with the collaboration’s theme as an Ibex goat is depicted as climbing up the iconic 3-Stripes emblem.
Enjoy campaign imagery of the pair ahead, as you wait for an official drop via END. Launches on Friday, September 30th, for $159 USD.
