Each new year The Swoosh pays special care toward enlisting nearly the entirety of its lifestyle archives for the brand’s celebration of Chinese New Year. 2023’s upcoming Year of the Rabbit has been no different as the Air Force 1 High Utility 2.0 is now joining the ranks of a handful of titular honorary propositions.

Remaining disparate from the white/red/blue color palette employed unto both the Nike Dunk Low and mirroring that of its Air Force 1 Low counterpart, smooth tan leather overlays dominant the upper construction whereas its “Sail” treated base layer renders a roughed up suede texture. Underfoot, a snow-speckled serrated gum outsole alongside fuzzy white chenille midfoot Swooshes and pom poms placed at the heel counter enact a winterized aesthetic, coupled with the light cream hues emanating from the thin nylon laces and tongue construction. Amidst the tonal ensemble, titular red contrasts enter the fold through the pair’s sock and tongue liner while a faded shade of peach anchors the fuzzy suede ankle fastener in conclusion.
