Get ready for an official release of the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2023 collection, because all signs are pointing to a release very soon. The entirety of official images have surfaced signaling an official release likely in the Spring 2023 season.
Since the inception of the partnership between Nike and the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, this for-charity design program has generated nearly $31 million since 2004, a figure that will most certainly grow after the official release off the 2023 collection.
Next up via official images is the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 by Jaren Heacock. Currently the lifestyle “it” shoe, the Vomero 5 receives a massive punch in excitement with vibrant orange and yellow covering the upper. The choice of colors is inspired by Jalen’s Chinese roots, while the attached accoutrement and 8-bit detailing takes after the retro Nintendo game Kung Fu. Jaren puts the final stamp on his design with the inspirational quote “Assembling The Future” at the heel.
