Following its introduction in 2021, Nike’s “Evolutions Of Icons” pack served as a momentous trip down memory lane, fusing together a medley of past iconic constructions for reconfigured futuristic ensembles. Debuted this year’s collection via the Nike Air Max 95, the Nike Air Huarache borrows the Air Max 90’s synonymous “Infrared” outfit.
Pairing its crisp white vamp with the upper’s neoprene sock construction’s greyscale treatment, an accented wash of “Sail” envelops the presiding overlay caging and mudguard. While the latter AM 90 indulged in jet-black contrasts along its full-length mid-foot overlay, the initial section of the heel counter renders a further color match in tandem with its tread underfoot. Illuminated the Beaverton brand’s staple “Infrared” tone, the latter consumes the semi-translucent heel clip and mid-foot mesh window while additionally laying claim to the sock liner and canvas tongue tab.
