Designed for all conditions, the Nike ACG range has birthed countless iconic designs since the late 1980s. Ahead of spring, the Swoosh has unveiled the ACG Watercat+ an update to the eco-conscious Watercat from 2006.
Previously seen in purple and black and orange, the ultra-breathable silhouette recently emerged in a “Phantom” style. “Summit White” and “Light Orewood Brown” also appear on the latest from the All Conditions Gear label, although these colors land on the midsole and sockliner, respectively. The mostly-woven upper takes on a cream tone that helps the low-cut design deliver a clean look. Speed lacing nod to the original model’s amphibious capabilities. Netizens have drawn comparisons between Nike’s upcoming product and the KEEN UNEEK hybrid sneaker sandal – and understandably so. Branding specific to the Swoosh, however, will surely draw some consumers to the ACG offering.
