Sneaker News Back in 2003, Eric Haze put his spin on both the Dunk Low and High, dressing the two silhouettes up in colorways that appeared to be spray painted. In the two decades that followed, the Swoosh has made many a similar attempt at vandalism. And while tamer than most, this upcoming Dunk High is equally reminiscent of the aforementioned artist’s process.
At first glance, this Dunk High seems to echo the look of the previously-released “Neutral Grey.” A shade similar to the latter is used along the outsole, branding, and Swoosh, the latter of which is painted in a way that would surely make Haze proud. Elsewhere, the rest of the shoe is even more understated, as white neutrals outfit the leather upper, lace unit, midsole, and the like.
