The Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo have their work cut out for them down 3-1 in the opening round of the Playoffs against the Miami Heat. With a win-or-go-home situation on the line for the foreseeable future, we could see the two-time MVP debut his fifth signature silhouette in his potential last game of the season.
Recently, the Nike Zoom Freak 5 appeared via first-look imagery following the initial reveal of its polarizing design from late March. In a stark departure from the use of the Bucks’ throwback colorways, the latest ensemble called “Made In Sepolia” treats its base layer to a jet-black treatment while bright “Photo Blue” hues collect along the tongue tabs embroidery and the quarter’s lace loops. Further indulging in the more titular section of the color wheel, the heel counter comes doused in a lively violet while the lime green mid-foot Swoosh is split in two as its lower half bleeds onto the greyscale midsole with logo engravings and a seldom purple speckling. Finished by attributing the latter collection of tints to a marbled aesthetic along the tread underfoot, the interior of the tongue reserves space for baby blue cursive outlining the seven-time All-Star’s signature.
While we await news regarding the silhouette’s official debut, in the meantime enjoy a first look at the Nike Zoom Freak 5 “Black/Green” below.
