After teaming up with A-COLD-WALL back in 2018, the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 appeared in several inline styles, each removed of the Samuel Ross-designed heel clip. And for the longest time, the “Anthracite” — which originally released in the first few months of 2019 — was the closest thing we had to an all-black colorway. That, however, is no longer the case, as the Swoosh is ushering in a true “Triple Black” offering for 2023.
With the exception of the heel piece, of course, the upcoming Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Triple Black” bears a relatively close resemblance to its collaborative counterpart. There are a few notable distinctions, though, such as the lack of patent leather and the subtle grey decals across the pair’s overlays. What’s more, the materials used reflect light in a very different manner, giving the colorway a look not quite as dark as ACW’s take on the silhouette.
