The Air Jordan 2 Low “Quai 54” Honors The French Basketball Tournament’s 20th Anniversary

The Air Jordan 2 Low “Quai 54” Honors The French Basketball Tournament’s 20th Anniversary

Founded in Paris in 2003 by Hammadoun Sidibé and Thibaut de Longeville, the Quai 54 basketball tournament has grown to be one most world’s most popular events of its kind. Jordan Brand has been working with the two side-by-side for years now, celebrating the energy of French hoops through community efforts and footwear releases inspired by the game of basketball, Parisian influence, and African roots.

For 2023, Jordan Brand will honor the 20th Anniversary of Quai 54 with a series of brand new designs, including the Air Jordan 2 Low seen here for the first time. Capturing the essence of the OG “Chicago” colorway, Jordan Brand adds Pan-African colors of green and yellow on the heel and outsole while applying geometric patterns on the insoles. The same emblem can be seen on the hang-tag, which calls out the twenty year span of the annual summer event. A similar array of colors can be seen on the accompanying Air Jordan 1 Low Quai 54 as well.

Currently, a release date for the Air Jordan 2 Low Quai 54 has not yet been revealed, but stay tuned to Sneaker News for the latest updates.
