Michael Le Back in May, during their last SNKRS Live, Jordan Brand shared an early look at their latest women’s exclusive Air Jordan 4: the “Frozen Moments.” And in anticipation for the colorway’s release — which is only a few months away — retailers have shared an even closer glimpse at the Fall release.
The Air Jordan 4 “Frozen Moments” pays homage to Michael Jordan’s early career. Its namesake — which is borrowed from a television ad that originally aired in 1997 — references key points during the athlete’s time in the NBA. This colorway, specifically, likely nods to “The Shot” against the Cleveland Cavaliers back in 1989, the very same year the AJ4 made its debut.
In terms of its design, the “Frozen Moments” shines MJ’s fourth signature through a relatively understated lens. “Light Iron Ore” and “Neutral Grey” are used predominantly throughout the upper, dressing the leather and suede layered underneath the “Metallic Silver” support wings. “Sail” midsoles and complementary accents, then, help to round out the package alongside white Jumpman logos and seldom hits of black.
