Sneaker News New Balance’s Y2K-inspired 90/60 is stepping out in full force in 2023. With a highly anticipated collaboration with DTLR just days away, the excitement around this modern-meets-classic silhouette has never been higher — and it’s just about hit overdrive thanks to one of the most chaotic colorways to date.
These are being dubbed the “Prism Purple”, but you can clearly see that the regal shade only covers a portion of the sneaker. Patent leather and mesh grab hold of the upper, while accents of a blazing hot orange land on the overlays, laces, and midsoles, A glowing light green touch the tertiary overlays, while a yellow/blue pairing appear on the outsole. Clearly, the New Balance 90/60 is going for a multi-colored appeal — the polar opposite of the stoic grey that the brand is known for.
This wildly unhinged colorway of the New Balance 90/60 is set to arrive at NB retailers on July 1st, 2023 for $150.
