Michael Le Though around seven years since the style’s last release, the Jumpman is not yet ready to give us a Retro of the Air Jordan 1 “Black Toe.” Instead, they’re providing us with the next best thing: an Air Jordan 1 Low OG clad in the very same colorway.
Rumors of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Black Toe” first surfaced back in 2022, with leaked imagery confirming the release shortly after. Now, with the official launch only a few weeks away, retailers have shared an even better, more detailed glimpse at the upcoming colorway.
Fans of the original “Black Toe” should feel more than at home here, as the color blocking has been well-translated to the Peter Moore-designed sneaker’s low-top trim. The all-leather upper alternates between the very same tones — black outfits the Swoosh, toe cap, and eye stays; red highlights much of the heel; and white neutrals are brushed along the underlying base. What’s more, the sole unit and branding are done up in the same fashion as its time-honored predecessor.
