The New Balance 998 “Grey/Black” Launches On February 8th

While not the most popular offering in the brand’s catalog, the New Balance 998 certainly deserves its due. And it’s likely Teddy Santis would agree, as he’s recently added the silhouette to the greater MADE in USA fold.

The New Balance 998 has delivered several releases in 2023 thus far, two of which fall under the Aime Leon Dore founder’s purview. Soon, a third will be added to the collection, this pair dressed in an understated, grey-dominant style. Contrary to what “Grey” might conjure to mind, the colorway is distinct from the footwear brand’s default, applying different shades of said neutral to leather, synthetic, and various suede textures. What’s more, the embroidered branding signature to the model has been removed in favor of a woven label.

Enjoy a closer look at this upcoming New Balance 998 right here. No release date has been confirmed just yet, but it’s likely we’ll be seeing these on NewBalance.com before the end of the year.

In other news, the Nike KD 4 Weatherman is expected to return in 2024.
