Dusted off from the Beaverton archives just last weekend in its OG “University Red” offering, the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 is set to embark on an expansive range of original inline styles, such as this “Tech Grey” accented effort.
Alongside plans for a suede-treated “Photon Dust” effort, the late 80s basketball tooling further indulges in the latter greyscale aesthetic. Much like its Chicago-inspired counterpart, the pictured proposition executes a dominant tumbled leather upper dipped in crisp white shades that expand further along the tongue construction and front half of the midsole. Stark jet-black contrasts clarify the forefoot strap, heel clip and tread before lining the silver jacquard mesh collar. The aforementioned barely-light grey returns to outfit the mid-foot Swoosh while the relatively streamlined composition introduces a seldom orange illumination within the insoles, tread and tongue logo.
Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike Air Alpha Force 88 “White/Tech” below as we await further release details.
