Silhouettes like the Air Jordan 2 have assumed a fair amount of real estate within the Jordan Brand’s seasonal release calendar. Meanwhile, the Beaverton banner maintains a stringent focus on executing a compelling range of reworks from the past; the latest of which arrives this Friday with the royal Air Jordan 12 “Field Purple”.
The two-toned ensemble draws inspiration from Gary Payton’s “Laker’s PE” worn throughout The Glove’s one-year tenure in Los Angeles. A striking ” Field Purple” amplifies the lizard print leather mudguard and sole unit underfoot while simultaneously outfitting the tongue’s embroidered Jumpman logo and vertical branding. Jet-black shades cure the remaining upper real estate in full, reserving the metallic gold eye stays for a gilded conclusion.
The Air Jordan 12 “Field Purple” is scheduled to release via the SNKRS app on August 12th in adult, grade school and toddler sizing. Enjoy one last look at the pair below alongside our accompanying store list in the meantime.
In other news from underneath the Jumpman banner, the Jordan 11 “Neapolitan” recently appeared in official retail imagery.
