Since 1986 the Air Jordan 1 has lurked in clad-canvas constructions. Over the past few years, the latter KO compositions have increased their output with both original and new color blockings taking hold. This week, the retextured low-top trim of the Air Jordan 1 harkens to the brand’s iconic “Bred” colorway.
Much like the low-tops “Bred Toe” effort from 2021, the canvas-heavy pair exercises a similar titular colored vamp surrounded by jet-black panels. Here, the silhouette indulges almost exclusively in the aforementioned pitch-dark fervor, stretching colorless shades from the tongue and flat laces to the inner lining and heel counter. Elsewhere, a “Sail” tinted midsole harkens to an aged past while the profile swooshes, heel tab and tongue branding are injected with red hot flair.
The Air Jordan 1 KO Low “Bred” is scheduled to release on Wednesday, August 23rd, for a retail price of $120. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below alongside our accompanying store list.
In other news, the Kobe 8 Protro “Halo” releases on August 23rd.
