Michael Le Though he’s long since retired, John McEnroe’s legacy lives on thanks to the Swoosh, who recently ushered in the return of the tennis legend’s signature sneaker: the Mac Attack.
Given a little push from the likes of Travis Scott and Social Status, the Nike Mac Attack has lined up a number of colorways for 2023, including but not limited to the “White/Black” that first surfaced earlier in the year. Similar to that of the OG as well as the “Red Crush,” this pair’s color blocking is visually straightforward, with black mainly applied atop the Swoosh, collar, and lower heel. And save for the light grey outsole and the checkerboard-patterned, red-branded tongue label, the rest of the shoe is dressed entirely in a neutral white finish.
