Few brands have reloaded their on-court rosters like Jordan Brand has over the past few years. Boasting a trio of signature stars in Jayson Tatum, Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson alongside a cast of ambassadors including Chris Paul, Bradley Beal and Paolo Banchero the Beaverton brand’s on-court endeavors have been rejuvenated alongside a compelling collection of footwear. After months of speculation, the Jumpman banner has made their latest signee official, locking up New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram to an undisclosed deal.
Signing with adidas as the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Ingram’s deal with the three-stripes ended in 2021 and has since sported a swoosh and Jordan-exclusive lineup on court. Rumors surrounding Ingram’s commitment to the Jumpman picked up steam over the summer when he was spotted at the brand’s exclusive “Board of Governors” retreat. Throughout Team USA’s exhibition games ahead of the 2023 FIBA World Cup, Ingram has been dawning the upcoming Air Jordan 38 “FIBA” and is expected to suit up in the Cushlon wedge-assisted silhouette throughout the 2023-24 season.
In other news from the Beaverton brand, the Corporate Air Ship releases on September 7th.
