The Nike LeBron 21 “Abalone” Is Expected To Release In December

Update November 21st, 2023: Official images have been added ahead of the pair’s release in December.

Updated October 24th, 2023: A release for the LeBron 21 “Abalone” is expected in December 2023.

Yesterday, Nike officially unveiled not only their entire Holiday 2023 line-up but also the much-anticipated LeBron 21. And later that night, during the World Basketball Festival, the brand revealed a first look at yet another forthcoming colorway: the “Abalone.”

Much like the “Akoya” as well as the shoe itself, the Nike LeBron 21 “Abalone,” too, is inspired by a shell and pearl, specifically that of the marine snail to which it owes its namesake. Here, the upper — which appears to be constructed of leather instead of monomesh — is dressed in a vibrant, green and blue pattern, whose look is intentionally reminiscent of the aforementioned mollusk. Adjacent, solid cool tones dress much of the rest of the shoe, while pearly whites highlight the outsole as well as the embroidered detailing underneath the Swoosh and atop the tongue.

Enjoy a detailed look at the Nike LeBron 21 “Abalone” right here. While a firm release date has yet to be confirmed, it’s likely we’ll be seeing these very soon at Nike.com and select retailers.

In other news, Nike also officially revealed Devin Booker’s signature shoe, the Book 1.
