The Nike Mac Attack Surfaces In “Oil Green”

The Nike Mac Attack Surfaces In “Oil Green”

Once Nike officially reinstates a classic silhouette utilizing retro color blockings that have spent years in the archives, the selected model almost always enters into a vein of lifestyle-centric compositions soon after. The latter is more than applicable when it comes to the recent return of the Nike Mac Attack, which not only saw the release of a few OG installments but also a collaborative effort with Travis Scott. As the pair begins to introduce more versatile options, the John McEnroe-endorsed shoe now echoes an overtly Fall-friendly treatment.

In a disparate vein of the color palette, the Mac Attack stretches “Oil Green” shades throughout the smooth suede finish of the upper overlays’ while a “Sail” tinted mesh mid-foot panel helps to illuminate the low-cut treatment. Further colorless elements fill the laces, inner lining and the entirety of the sole unit underfoot, allowing for a seldom break from the outdoors aesthetic.  What’s more, a brown-tinted “Ironstone” hue begins to invigorate the mesh vamp and tongue construction before attributing the hairy suede detailing of the profile swoosh, heel counter and upper collar.

The Nike Mac Attack “Oil Green” is expected to be released in February of 2024 for a retail price of $130. As we await further details, the pair can be seen ahead in detailed imagery.
